What is a Wallaby? ![]() The Bennett wallaby (Macropus rufogriseus) is one of the larger varieties of wallaby, reaching an adult height of about 30 inches and weighing between 30 to 50 lbs. A wallaby is simply a small kangaroo and, like a kangaroo, it carries its young, called joeys, in a pouch on its abdomen. ![]() |
